UBC SAD CLINIC TESTS NEW LIGHT DEVICE

A new, portable light device, the Litebook, is being tested and used at our clinic. The Litebook uses light-emitting diode (LED) technology to produce an intense white light source in a very small package.

The Litebook was found to be effective in preliminary studies conducted at the UBC Hospital SAD Clinic and several international centres, including Yale University, but more studies are under way. If you would like to volunteer for these and other SAD studies, please check here.
